Who is lauren virdure?

It all started one glorious night in Houston, Texas…
A star was born.

It was at a young age that Lauren Virdure discovered her love for dance and fashion. She has grown to become a professional dancer and choreographer, currently based in the Atlanta area. Her passion for the arts has led to many opportunities to perform and work with amazing talent in many roles. From performing and choreographing live performances and music videos to writing and directing plays and productions, Lauren enjoys every aspect of the arts! She teaches weekly at Reigning Victory Dance Studio, has quarterly workshops at Dance Stars of Atlanta, and offers private lessons by appointment. She looks forward to the endless opportunities that are on the horizon. Keep an eye out for her workshops and performances!

Remember when you had to get your film developed from your camera to see your pictures? After taking them to the store and waiting for them to be developed, it was always fun to see what pictures were there and what memories were captured! For Lauren, it was a bit different. She would go through several rolls of film practicing poses, learning angles, and playing with lighting. One of her favorite shows? America’s Next Top Model. She had dreams of walking the runway and posing for high end designers. She experienced a bit of disappointment knowing that most of the more successful and famous models were slim and rather tall. It was at that point that she decided to defy the odds and pursue that dream, one shoot at a time!

“I wish I would have known that when I was younger!” How many times have you thought this? Lauren is a proud mentor and community leader, spreading her knowledge and life lessons to everyone she comes in contact with. She enjoys public speaking and presenting workshops and classes to be a positive influence for members of the community. She uses her role as an instructor to mentor and lead through movement. Confidence building, etiquette, team building and community service workshops are just a few of the presentations she has had the opportunity to lead. She has always lived by the motto “aspire to inspire” and continues to do just that. Her daily goal? Inspire at least one person to be the best they can be and follow their dreams!
